Steakhouses: A celebrity favorite for good reason, CUT is often hailed as one of the city's best steakhouses. Featuring a menu of succulent steaks grilled over hard wood and charcoal then finished under a 1,200-degree broiler, CUT boasts a selection of U.S.D.A. Prime corn-fed steaks aged between 21 and 35 days as well as steaks made from American Wagyu and true 100 percent Japanese Wagyu beef. While guests can see the difference in marbling between the American and Japanese Wagyu steaks when the waiter brings the cuts of beef to the table, diners can actually taste the difference with CUT's Tasting of New York Sirloin menu option, which also includes a 4-ounce cut of the U.S.D.A. Prime New York Sirloin. While none of the steaks disappoint, the Japanese Wagyu beef just melts in your mouth. Be sure to try the Argentinean chimichurri sauce with the American Wagyu steak--it's delicious!
